Our standard leathers are full-grain, 100% aniline-dyed, corrected with a slight embossing. We do not use split hides leather. Leather thickness is generally 1.0 - 1.2 mm depending on application of seating component for stretching and tailoring the upholstery design and condition.

Premium Leather

Below are the swatches of the Premium leather colors we offer for the Bauhaus, L’Epirit Nouveau and Mid-Century Modern Collections. There is generally a 12% up-charge for all Premium Leathers. Our Premium leathers are full-grain, 100% aniline-dyed. Our Premium grade leathers have a soft feel to them and much of the hides natural grain patterns are retained. They are also a little shinier than the Standard Leather. Premium leather thickness is generally the same as the standard leather: 1.0 - 1.2 mm depending on application of seating component for stretching and tailoring the upholstery design and condition. Thick Leathers

We now offer an extensive collection of fabric colors in a variety of yarn compositions. Our selection is particularly suited for the mid-century modern furniture we make, in that they include bright colors with texture woven weaves. These fabrics are offered in three grade levels or price points. We have arranged these swatches in color groups, with grade level shown. We are happy to mail you a physical piece of fabric so you can hold it in your hands, just give a call or e-mail us. If you don't see what you want below, we are happy to customize your furniture to your exact fabric requirement. If you have a specific fabric in mind, we can either order it or we can use your supplied fabric, in either case, we need to approve the fabric to ensure it can be applied to the specific piece of furniture.

Wood Choices

We currently offer 7 standard finishes choices on those products where wood is exposed, such as the Bauhaus Exhibition Daybed and Benches, the Wegner Chairs, Noguchi Table etc. Because we do our own finishing, we can usually custom make an item in a finish not shown, for an extra charge and a 25 piece minimum. Another advantage of in-house finishing is the same stain can be used across our entire product line, no matter who the designer. Something that DWR can't even do at three times the cost! • I just want to say that the Petite LC2 3 seat sofa I received last week exceeded all of our expectations. The form, finish and materials are perfect. I have desired a piece of Corbusier cube furniture ever since I learned about modernism at design school way back in 1973. Then the Memorex ad came out and I wanted one even more. However, I never could justify the price of a Cassina copy, especially back then.
  
  We recently moved into a contemporary house that just "cried out" for a cube sofa to to go with the two Wassily chairs that we already owned. The retro, art deco sofa and chairs that we had in our former house looked awkward and out of place in the open floor plan. I was delighted to find your website and the accurate copies of Corbusier's designs.
