Our Mid-Century Ribbed Office Chair is a faithful edition of the celebrated 1958 thin-pad management chair. It features a distinctively curved, ergonomic back upholstered in premium ribbed leather that provides both style and breathable comfort. The chair is built upon a reinforced polished aluminum frame and includes essential professional features: BIFMA-tested pneumatic lift, full swivel, and adjustable tilt. This mid-back version is designed for versatility, fitting seamlessly into contemporary conference rooms or residential desks while maintaining the architectural integrity of the original design movement.

Below are the leather colors we offer for this product. Our Standard Leathers (denoted with the prefix L1) are top-grain, aniline-dyed, and then color corrected with a slight embossing to create a more uniform grain pattern. Our Premium leathers (denoted with the prefix L2) are also top-grain, aniline-dyed but have a soft feel to them and much of the hides natural grain patterns are retained.

Features of our leather include:
  • Top-grain Italian leather from Grade A hides
  • Corrected aniline-dyed (standard) and semi-aniline dyed (premium)
  • Made at Italian tanneries and sent to our factory

  • Are not split hides or bonded leather
