The Brge Mogensen Model 2215 chair belongs to Mogensen’s "22 Collection” of club chairs and sofas for Fredericia. The collection was conceived in the early 1960s and were developed to balance formal, timeless lines with everyday comfort, reflecting Mogensen’s Kaare Klint–influenced, "furniture for life” philosophy. The best-known piece from the collection is the Model 2213 sofa, which was designed for Mogensen’s own Copenhagen home in 1962 and went into production at Fredericia soon after. The Model 2215 itself is a club chair variant from that family, with loose seat and back cushions, leather upholstery, and visible solid-wood legs.
