In 1960, Hans Wegner came out with the Ox chair. It showed the less serious side of Wegner's designs. Much of his previous work had been in the mid century Danish tradition, featuring exposed wood frames and minimal upholstery. The Ox chair is a striking design with a large and supportive seat base and a horn headrest. The Ox Footstool completes the Ox chair forming a comfortable and striking modern lounge chair set.
