Our version of the Hans Wegner Shell Chair is a close match to the signature version. The upholstery for this model is what we call Pony Hide, which is cowhide with hairs dyed brown and white. We have created our own mold for forming the 7-ply Oak veneer plywood, so that it conforms to the authentic version.
