102-Mies van der Rohe Exhibition Sofas and Loveseats
There are two styles of sofa and loveseats in this category. First, is our Exhibition loveseat and sofas, which are inspired by the Mies van der Rohe Chair known the world over as the "Barcelona Chair." All joints are fully welded, sealed, and seamless. The frame is hand-polished to a mirror-like finish. The geometry of the frame is accurate to the Mies van der Rohe original design. Cowhide belts are attached to the frame. Second, is the Resorhaus Collection, a Modern Classics design.

Our Exhibition Footstool was inspired by the Mies van der Rohe footstool known the world over as the "Barcelona Stool." All joints are fully welded, sealed, and seamless. The frame is hand-polished to a mirror-like finish. The geometry of the frame is accurate to the Mies van der Rohe original design. Four belts with buckle attach the cushion to the frame.

Our Exhibition Daybed was inspired by the design of popular Mies van der Rohe Sofa, also known as the Barcelona Couch. This design was first introduced and recognized as a signature modernist furniture model in architect Phillip Johnson's New York apartment. Our daybeds are made with top-grain, Italian leather. Our wood frames are made of thick, solid ash and can be finished in one of five colors. The frames are supported with durable stainless steel legs and two curved SS bars underneath.

113-Mies van der Rohe Style Side Chairs
Our Mies Executive Flat Arm Side Chair was inspired by the chair originally designed in 1930 for the Tugendhat House in Brno, Czechoslovakia. Known around the world as the "Brno Chair", to this day it is an elegant and luxurious design suitable for the dining room, office seating or waiting room.

We make our Executive Flat Arm Side Chair using only the high quality 12mm flat stock 304 stainless steel polished to a mirror-like finish. Our upholstery is top-grain leather imported from Italy. Excellent sewing detail is maintained on the all the chair seams. The seat cushions are high resilient - high density polyurethane foam over an internal spring suspension. You will note that our seat backs and bottom also have a flat, sleek look. You can choose the model with the matching armpads or the one without.

Our newest line of seating pays homage to one of Mies van Der Rohe's earliest projects in the United States, even before he becomes an American Citizen. We have designed our Resorhaus Chair, Loveseat and Sofa to be a compliment to the other seating we make that are inspired by the Barcelona style furniture. Featuring a high back, deep seats, tufted seat and back cushions that run the entire width and stainless steel tubular legs.

131-Saarinen Style Womb Chair
As sculptor and architect, Eero Saarinen's work includes his Model 70 Chair, which became to be known as the "Womb Chair". Designed in 1948 and is considered among the ten best mid-century modern furniture designs. Our version of the Model 70 Lounge Chair is inspired by the Womb Chair is faithful to the original design, with a few minor differences. For instance, we use a molded fiber-reinforced internal shell, not a plastic shell. Our legs are stainless steel, not chrome plated steel. Our upholstery is what sets our version apart from all others on the market. Our fabric is made in North America and is 100% polyester made from recycled plastic. This fabric is a textured or boucle surface and is extremely durable (250K double rubs) and is water and stain resistant.

133-Saarinen GM Lobby Seating Collection
In December 1944, a project for the General Motor Technical Center in Warren MI was awarded to the film of Saarinen, Swanson and Saarinen to create a campus of office buildings and their furniture and fixtures. The initial commission called for 25 building, in which nearly 5,000 people would work. As part of this buildings design, Eero Saarinen designed a collection of lounge seating for the lobby of the Center, which were produced locally and never put into mass production. This lounge furniture collection is a rare example of Saarinen's furniture designs not taken into the Knoll collection.
